Beginners Welcome

High schoolers!

We're inviting you to learn to code at Epoch VT, a 10-hour hackathon (social coding event) where programmers, artists, designers, and other high-schoolers from across Vermont will come together to make fun projects like games and apps.

Make Fun Projects

From a robotic aardvark that shoots candy to a video game built for pyromaniacs, the hack's the limit! Form teams of up to four people and build to your heart's content. After dinner, your projects will be judged to win some fun prizes.

All Skill Levels Welcome

Whether you've been coding for years or you've never written a line of code, you're still absolutely encouraged to come. We'll hold beginner workshops and help you along the way to make sure you have an amazing experience.

Totally Free

Everything at this event is totally free, including meals, drinks, swag (hoodies & stickers!), and prizes. Our finances are all publicly visible on Hack Club Bank. All you'll need to bring is a laptop; if you don't have one, email us and we'll figure something out.

Global Focus

This is just one of several satellite events revolving around Epoch, a large high-school hackathon taking place in Delhi, India. It's organized by Hack Club, a nonprofit network of high school makers around the world.

If you have any questions, feel free to email us at team@epochvt.hackclub.com. We'd love to see you there!
